Geleneksel diş hekimliğinde bir kron veya köprü protezi üretmek, laboratuvara alçı kalıp göndermek, bekleme süresi ve birden fazla randevu gerektiriyordu. İstanbul merkezli FormForge Medical 3D, kliniğe entegre masaüstü SLA yazıcılarıyla bu süreci tek oturuma indirdi. Genel Müdür ve diş hekimi Dr. Leyla Arslan ile devrimi konuştuk.

sanayi.tech: Klinikte 3D baskı nasıl mümkün hale geldi?
Dr. Leyla Arslan / FormForge Medical: İntraoral tarayıcı teknolojisinin ucuzlamasıyla birlikte her kliniğin artık dijital tarama kapasitesi var. Bizim katkımız bu tarama verisini anında baskıya hazır hale getiren yapay zeka tabanlı yazılım katmanı. Sistem, ağız anatomisini analiz ederek bite kuvvetlerini modelliyor ve kron geometrisini otomatik optimize ediyor. Diş hekimi yalnızca renk onayı veriyor. Yazıcımız biyouyumlu Class IIa sertifikalı reçineler kullanıyor ve çıktı direkt ağza takılabiliyor.
sanayi.tech: Seri dental laboratuvarlara karşı rekabet avantajınız nedir?
Dr. Leyla Arslan / FormForge Medical: Hız ve kişiselleştirme. Laboratuvar sisteminde standart şablonlar var; dişin gerçek geometrisine tam uyum sağlamak için birden fazla deneme gerekiyor. Bizim sistemde her üretim sıfırdan modelleniyor çünkü zaten dijital veriden başlıyoruz. Bir klinike kurulum maliyetimiz 18 ay içinde geri dönüyor.
sanayi.tech: Tıbbi implant segmentine genişleme planlarınız var mı?
Dr. Leyla Arslan / FormForge Medical: Cerrahi kılavuz baskısı zaten hizmet portföyümüzde. Bir sonraki adımımız PEEK malzemeyle kraniyofasiyal implant üretimi. Türkiye'de bu alanda üretim yapan tek yerli firma olmak istiyoruz.
Traditional dentistry required sending plaster molds to a laboratory, waiting periods, and multiple appointments to produce a crown or bridge prosthetic. Istanbul-based FormForge Medical 3D has reduced this process to a single session with clinic-integrated desktop SLA printers. We spoke with General Manager and dentist Dr. Leyla Arslan about the revolution.

sanayi.tech: How did 3D printing in the clinic become possible?
Dr. Leyla Arslan / FormForge Medical: As intraoral scanner technology became affordable, every clinic gained digital scanning capacity. Our contribution is the AI-based software layer that instantly converts that scan data into print-ready files. The system analyzes oral anatomy to model bite forces and automatically optimizes crown geometry. The dentist only approves the color. Our printer uses biocompatible Class IIa certified resins and the output can be fitted directly in the mouth.
sanayi.tech: What is your competitive advantage over mass dental laboratories?
Dr. Leyla Arslan / FormForge Medical: Speed and personalization. Lab systems use standard templates; achieving a perfect fit to the tooth's actual geometry requires multiple attempts. In our system, every production is modeled from scratch because we start from digital data. The installation cost for a clinic pays for itself within 18 months.
sanayi.tech: Do you have plans to expand into the medical implant segment?
Dr. Leyla Arslan / FormForge Medical: Surgical guide printing is already in our service portfolio. Our next step is craniofacial implant production using PEEK material. We want to be the only domestic manufacturer in Turkey in this field.
